Thursday September 6th

The day started with Ivy and Rowan at Pre-School.....today was Grandparents day at school, since ours live so far away I asked Debbie if she would fill in so the kids could have someone there.  She said she was honored :)   The made "family trees"  so cute.  At dinner tonight Ivy raised her hand twice to say that pre-school was fun today!  And I asked Rowan did he like Debbie coming and he shook his head no.  I asked him why????  He said because she left.

Each one of the kids LOVES to cook!  They all beg to cook with me.  So tonight I let Ella brown the ground beef for dinner, I mean she is 6 after all!  (She also asked that we take away her booster that she was sitting in, tomorrow....since she's 6 now :)  I'm kind of tired of them anyway, so I think Ivy's will go too.  Rowan still wants his!  Ivy wanted to cook too, so she assembled the Tostada's, hers not surprisingly had a TON of cheese on it....but overall she did great too!

Tomatoes form Dad's garden.  On the right is the carrots, celery, bell peppers and tons of garlic for the sauce.  This is for tomorrow nights dinner.
