"Oh baby Ella" :) Not so much a baby any more.

Today we were listening to music while doing stuff around the house and I had my Pandora on our "Disney" station when "Whistle while you work" came on.  A few minutes later Ella came out with her cleaning bucket and said this song makes me want to clean!!!  Great, I'll play it everyday!   So then she started cleaning the kitchen cabinets on her own, and I told her the table legs needed to be dusted and she did that.  I think only in Arizona would a kitchen table need the legs dusted, at least once a week.

Then later in the day today the girls were asking what was inside their head.....they have been interested in anatomy for a while.  So I described the brain as the computer for your body, and that it makes everything work, tells your body what to do.  She then added without skipping a beat, that it also "turns into a TV at night' !  That's what she thinks dreaming is :)

Tonight after church, tucking the girls into bed I said the same thing I always do, I love you..........God loves you.  Then Ivy asks what she always does, why does God love me?  Same answer, because he made you!  Then she asked if God lives in everybody's heart.......I said no, he loves everybody but only lives in peoples heart that asked him to live in their heart....they have to want him to be there :)  Then, Ella said "Mommy, I want to ask Jesus to live in my heart" !!  "I want to pray to ask Jesus in my heart"....she was so happy and had a big smile on her face!  Then we prayed!  Then she asked if God is always by her side, and if he is then why can't she see him?  Is he everywhere?  Is he in California right now?  So cute!

 

Then tonight, 6/25,  Ella says after prayers, "If God has the whole world in his hands, how does he do it? Because I don't see any hands, all I see is streets".  :)

Making "stained glass" in the girls room. It's something that will take us a few days hopefully to finish! A good project for the summer, and they're actually learning more about colors.....like what two colors make purple :)

Rowans attention quickly went to crash and burn play with the girls doll's and stuffed animals...that step stool crashed to the floor after tumbling all over the bed.....I think it was actually a rocket!

At dinner we were asking bible trivia questions............"Who went into the whale"???????????????   Ella yelled  "PINOCCHIO" !

"Cooker" Rowan brought us out lunch yesterday!  That's what they call each other when they're playing restaurant.

YAY, the kids are old enough to do crafts almost by themselves.....2 hours down, how many more till the weathers cool enough to go back to the park????????

I cut my finger pretty bad making dinner and  Ivy whispered to Ella, "We need to do something for Mommy"...and she ran (literally) to the play room and came back a second later with this picture and said "here Mommy" !
